This 500 ft2 bright, sunny condo was in need of a make-over worthy of it's lovely owner. A fresh colour palette of white, yellow & leafy greens makes the space feel much larger. Warm wood tones on the floor and countertops contribute to the natural feel.

The wall between the kitchen and living room was opened up to create a more unified space. Large rectangular ceramic floor tile was installed in the kitchen, bathroom and entryway. The living room and bedroom received laminate eucalyptus flooring with great tones and grain. Built in storage is everywhere - pantry units were used as hall closets & extra cabinets were placed under the bar overhang. The principal cabinetry is white, but a bank of high-gloss yellow cabinets ups the fun factor. Complimenting yellow bar stools and console table help to tie the areas together. A showy, linear pendant fixture helps to define the kitchen space without blocking the view to the living room. All the walls were painted the same colour (Tunsgate Green by Farrow & Ball) to keep the space from looking choppy. A touch of botanical wallpaper adds interest to the narrow entry hall. The bathroom was reinvented by removing the tub and installing a slick walk-in shower with sliding glass door.
