Randi's Kitchen

As for most of us, budget was a key consideration for Randi's kitchen renovation. However, with good decisions one should never have to compromise style for budget! I wanted the kitchen to reflect her fun-loving personality as both a professional and the mom of a young daughter.  We used IKEA high gloss cabinets to save some pennies but went with a funky glass backsplash and custom pendant lights over the island.  I found some reclaimed wood that we were able to use as a shelf above her sink, which worked to soften the space.  We used a dead space on the wall between the kitchen and the living room to install a custom cork board where she could display daughter's Sadie's beautiful art work!
