Terrena’s Kitchen

When a client' says to you "I trust you" - it is an opportunity that cannot be taken for granted.  Terrena and Richard had bought a beautiful old house that used to work as an INN for the Civic Hospital for relatives of long term patients.  The kitchen however was old, dingy with pale pink counters (I am not joking - 'pale pink'). We decided to go with a classic retro vibe for the kitchen, which would work with the rest of the house but allow for some funkiness given the relative formality of the rest of the space.  I love the black and white Marmoleum floors, black cabinets and glass knobs.  The yellow cabinet allows for a punch of colour and a useful display area.  We made use of an empty wall with magnetic and chalkboard paint where kid’s schedules could be posted along with their art work.
