Mike & Mia's Family Spaces This renovation included an addition to the back of a lovely red brick home. The addition consisted of a great room with cathedral ceilings, a mud room (including side entrance) and a basement which included a rec room and a bathroom. Kristen's Living Room Out of the box idea to create a foyer where there was none. This charming home had a problem common to many Hintonburg homes, the front door opened directly into the living room.  No front closet and a tiny square of tile to land on.  We build a 2/3 wall to create an entrance area without blocking the light from the front window.  This small change allows for a large area of tile for boots, bikes and pets as well as a . . .

Emma's Home Decorating is an addiction! Decorating is an addiction!  That being said, Emma has chosen classic pieces which remain put year after year, but changes the feel of the spaces by swapping out the accessories.  Chandeliers are a particular favourite and she scoured local antique shops for these focal pieces.  She also plays with combinations of old and new (reclaimed wood harvest table paired with Emeco chairs) to create both a nod to the age of her home and her hip family. . . .
