Update & uplift

This suburban home got a top to bottom facelift.  Many cosmetic changes were made from floor to ceiling.  New built ins were installed on either side of the fireplace to make use of the large wall space.  These were created out of IKEA kitchen cabinets, custom painted to match the fireplace mantle & woodwork and topped with quartz.  A reclaimed piece of wood for the mantle and classic marble hex tile completed the fireplace surround.  The accessories in blue and brass link together the colour scheme of the living room with the kitchen.  The homeowner's love of blue is carried throughout the house with a shiny lacquered cabinet in the foyer and soft greys and blues in the master bedroom.
