Project Description
Jody’s Kitchen
Mid-century merge.
This homeowner was much to fun for her tired, old kitchen-she deserved something new. Without changing the footprint of her home, we were able to drastically improve the flow, light & functionality of her main floor. One main wall was removed allowing light to fill the whole space & connect the dinning room & kitchen. She wanted to keep the mid-century feel of her home so while we used sleek white IKEA cabinets for the kitchen we dressed them up with custom walnut accents. A hit of fun wallpaper in the back of the pantry wall adds some colour without over committing to anything drastic. Jazzy brass hardware & lighting fixtures completed the transformation.
