Joanna & Adam's kitchen A breath of fresh air! Here is another great example of the transformation that can come from knocking down a wall!  A tiny, cramped kitchen was reinvented into an open airy space by removing the wall joining the kitchen and dining room.  This allowed for the expansion of counter surfaces, introduction of an island and improved flow for the whole main floor. Kathleen's Living Space From Frumpy to Fabulous The original layout of this home consisted of small, boxy rooms.  We opened up almost all the walls on the main floor to create a more modern & airy feel.  The homeowner is a single mom with two busy boys.  We were looking to create a more modern feel but nothing too precocious. The home lacked storage solutions of any kind.  The long narrow living room was downsized to create two floor to ceiling closets facing the front . . .

Kristine's Kitchen Elegant & Sophisticated White kitchens can have a tendency to come off as boring as they don't have one big flashy design element to grab your attention.  The trick is making the details & workmanship speak for themselves. Cream cabinets, soft grey walls & crisp white trim compliment the dark wood floors. Black hardware & lighting accents ground the space.
