Kathleen's Front Entrance From Frumpy to Fabulous The original layout of this home consisted of small, boxy rooms.  We opened up almost all the walls on the main floor to create a more modern & airy feel.  The homeowner is a single mom with two busy boys.  We were looking to create a more modern feel but nothing too precocious. The home lacked storage solutions of any kind.  The long narrow living room was downsized to create two floor to ceiling closets facing the front . . .
